Elektrolyte

Es gibt hypotonische, isotonische und hypertonische Getränke. Bei den isotonischen Getränken ist die Konzentration an gelösten Stoffen im Getränk gleich hoch wie die Konzentration in der Körperflüssigkeit. Dadurch können die Stoffe besonders schnell aufgenommen werden. Isotonische Getränke dienen der schnellen Flüssigkeitsversorgung und liefern dem Körper Energie. Sportler verwenden am häufigsten isotonische Getränke, um die durch das Schwitzen verloren gegangene Flüssigkeit wieder aufzunehmen und um durch die Kohlenhydrate einen Energieschub zu erhalten.
